In the arena of natural medicine homeopathy stands out as a significant form of therapy that has wide application. Having been in existence for over 200 years there exist hundreds of remedies, multiple potencies, blended potencies, numerous methods of applications, and generally the only side affects are the possible symptom aggravations that may arise. However, amidst the many choices of homeopathic applications there is one method of use that is unique amongst them all. This method is the Isopathic/ Homeopathic SANUM Therapy.
The SANUM remedies are manufactured in Hoya, Germany. The Company produces nine product categories, each with their own general and specific application, but in a combined process with all nine is a synergistic, holistic therapeutic model. The products are distributed worldwide and are available in over 25 countries. While the current accomplishments are significant, it is the humble beginnings through the effort of one man that set this process in motion. This man was Prof. Dr. Günther Enderlein.
Prof. Dr. Enderlein (1872-1968) was born into a family of teachers in Leipzig. After earning his high school diploma, he studied in the natural sciences at the university, specializing in zoology. He was graduated summa cum laude. He became curator of the Berlin Zoological Museum and wrote over 500 scientific papers as a zoologist. Enderlein founded his own microbiological institute in Berlin, where he developed new types of preparations from molds. He later became production manager at the Sanum firm (Berlin/Hamburg). After the facilities were moved to Aumuhle in the vicinity of Hamburg, he devoted himself totally to setting up his own enterprise, "Ibica". Enderlein died in 1968, and the firm was able to continue on for only a few years under the leadership of his widow, Sigrid Enderlein. When Mr. Heinrich Kehlbeck in 1975, a close confidant of Dr. Enderlein, purchased the production facilities the company was named Sanum-Kehlbeck. The preparations program was improved and expanded based on the latest scientific findings.
As mentioned previously, Isopathic/Homeopathic SANUM Therapy is one of the most unique, albeit misunderstood therapeutic models of utilizing the homeopathic process in treating illness and disease. Fortunately, this process has been able to continue through the SANUM-Kehlbeck Company and the products are available in the U.S. through Pleomorphic Products SANUM, Inc. The author encourages the curious doctor and patient to seek out this form of medicine as it may very well provide a new look into the future of symbiotic, natural medicine.
